DC Quetta Chairs DDC Meeting on BSDI Approved Projects for Quetta City
An important meeting of the Balochistan Special Development Initiative (BSDI) was held on 7 May 2026 under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Quetta, Mehrullah Badini, with participation from representatives of various departments and relevant officials. The meeting was attended by representatives from 12 Corps, XEN Buildings, the Program Coordinator, Director General University of Balochistan, BSDI, PIU officials, and other concerned officers.

The session focused on reviewing the progress of ongoing development schemes under BSDI and discussing the future roadmap for effective implementation. Detailed briefings were presented on the status of ongoing projects, progress achieved so far, challenges being faced, and possible solutions to improve execution and coordination.
“Strong coordination and continuous monitoring are essential to ensure the successful completion of development projects and timely delivery of public services,” emphasized during the meeting.
Discussions also highlighted the importance of effective collaboration among departments to strengthen project implementation and maintain transparency in development activities. Participants stressed the need for regular monitoring of all schemes to ensure quality, efficiency, and timely completion across different sectors.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to improving coordination and accelerating the progress of BSDI initiatives to support sustainable development across Balochistan.
