The session included a detailed presentation covering all 35 districts, highlighting the completion of 314 projects along with their operational status. The report also presented verified financial data and visual evidence, including images and maps, to validate on-ground progress. Consultants shared updates on their ongoing work and informed that their reports will be submitted shortly.
“The efforts of the district teams are commendable, and the report provides a strong base. With further improvements in analysis and monitoring, we can enhance the overall quality and impact of our work,” said Dr. Emmad Durrani during the meeting.
Key areas discussed during the meeting included the need to strengthen analytical components through stakeholder analysis and Earned Value Management (EVM), incorporation of the Schedule Performance Index (SPI) to track timelines, and ensuring geo-tagging of all schemes for better transparency. The use of the RACI method was also recommended to improve clarity in roles and responsibilities. Additionally, directions were given for the timely submission of consultants’ reports and implementation of a formal Field Monitoring Plan.
The meeting concluded with an appreciation of the progress made and a clear focus on improving reporting standards, transparency, and performance monitoring to ensure effective implementation of BSDI across all districts.
